Starting July 1st, Willow & Pine is bringing its small-group, nature-inspired approach to Lakewood Road in Lake Country. Whether you're looking for daycare for your little one or after-school care for your school-age child, we're here to make sure every child feels seen, safe, and genuinely cared for.

Meet Piper
At Willow & Pine Lakewood, care starts with connection. Piper was born and raised right here in the Okanagan, and she brings that same rootedness to the families she now looks forward to welcoming.
Piper is passionate about the care and growth of children. She has experience with little ones as young as nine months all the way up to age twelve, and she graduated from Okanagan College in 2024 with a diploma in early childhood education. She also holds her certification as a Special Needs Educator, a reflection of her belief that every child deserves to be met exactly where they are.
Her approach is warm, patient, and grounded in genuine connection. She believes children flourish through play, gentle routines, and meaningful interaction. It's why she's dedicated to creating a space where curiosity, confidence, and independence can grow at each child's own pace.
Away from the day-to-day, you'll find Piper out enjoying everything the Okanagan has to offer: hiking, paddleboarding, skiing, and spending time with her three dogs. Above all, she's grateful for the trust families place in her, and she doesn't take lightly the privilege of caring for their children.

Programs & Rates
Willow & Pine Lakewood offers two programs designed to fit the rhythm of Lake Country families.
Daycare · Ages 12 Months – 5 Years
Monday – Friday · 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM
Our daycare program follows a gentle daily rhythm of play, learning, rest, and connection — the kind of calm, consistent environment where young children truly thrive. With small group sizes, every child receives the individual attention they deserve during these important early years.
After-School Care · Ages K – 10
Monday – Friday · 2:30 PM – 5:30 PM
Located just a short walk from Davidson Elementary, our after-school program offers a seamless end to your child's school day — no bus, no coordination, no stress. Children walk directly from school to a calm, familiar space where they can unwind, play, and feel at home until you arrive.
Please note: walk-to pickup is from Davidson Elementary only at this time.
Daily Schedule — Daycare Program
7:30 AM – 2:30 PM · Monday to Friday
- 7:30 – 8:30 AM: Arrival & Free Play
- 8:30 – 8:45 AM: Morning Circle Time — songs, calendar and weather
- 8:45 – 9:15 AM: Morning Snack
- 9:15 – 10:15 AM: Outdoor Play & Gross Motor Activities
- 10:15 – 10:45 AM: Learning Activities & Small Groups
- 10:45 – 11:15 AM: Music, Movement & Story Time
- 11:15 AM – 12:00 PM: Lunch
- 12:00 – 12:15 PM: Bathroom/Diapering & Transition to Rest Time
- 12:15 – 1:45 PM: Nap/Quiet Time
- 1:45 – 2:00 PM: Wake-Up, Bathroom/Diapering, Clean-Up
- 2:00 – 2:15 PM: Afternoon Snack
- 2:15 – 2:30 PM: Pack-Up for home time
- 2:30 PM: Pick-Up and Closed
